Chinese students were making origami cranes
On April 20, the VT-ACSS organized a donation on the drillfield. In this photo, several Chinese students were making origami cranes. The Chinese community of Blacksburg uses the "1000 cranes" to express grief and remembrance.
Flowers around the Norris Hall
People placed flowers,candles and gifts under the tree near the Norris Hall to mourn for the victims.

Sorrowful people on the drillfield
Numerous people visited the Hokie stone memorial site on the drillfield. They placed flowers and gifts around this memorial site. We will always remember the victims.

Ribbons of remembrance
Orange and black ribbons were tied on trees around the campus of Virginia Tech three days after the tragety.
Praying for the victims
People brought handmade gifts and flowers to the drillfield memorial site to mourn and pray for the victims every day.
VT support poster
A huge VT support poster was hung in the Squires Student Center. This poster was filled with fingerprints and moving messages.

Memorial site besides the Norris Hall
A lot of wreathes and flowers were placed besides the Norris Hall. People also wrote solace messages on the posters and set them with the flowers.
