University of Michigan Vigil For Virginia Tech

Title

University of Michigan Vigil For Virginia Tech

Description

April 17, 2007 at 10:30 p.m. University of Michigan students joined together in the Diag for a moment of silence to honor the victims of this week's massacre at Virginia Tech.

Students also signed a U-M flag that will be sent to the VTech to show our support for the victims and their families and friends.

This was one of my favorite shots. It came out pretty blurry because I didn't have my tripod and I was also balancing a small candle in the opposite hand. We formed a circle around the entire Diag, stretching all the way back to the Hatcher Grad library.
