SL Memorial for Virginia Tech
Tonight (4/16) at 8pm SLT, turn the grid dark, midnight in rememberance of those lost in the Virginia Tech mass murder. There will be a candelight vigil in the Kula Coloseum from 8pm until midnight. Monument by Perefim Coa.

Lovely Towny
This woman was on College Ave. and Main Street after the convocation. This is a prime expample of how close our community is. I told her "I love you" and she replied "I love you more..."

I am a doctoral student at the University of Florida but was born and raised in Blacksburg. This statue is of UF's mascots (Albert and Alberta)with a VT. It was very nice to see UF's support after April 16th.

May 15, 2007. Jogyesa Temple, Seoul, Korea. Jogyesa Temple is the center of Zen Buddhism in Korea and is about 500 years old. Inside the temple, monks are praying for 49 days for the VT students and faculty who died.
